# LinkAffix

> REST API that injects tracked, commission-earning affiliate links into AI product responses server-side — no cookies, no client-side JavaScript required. Free tier: 1,000 injections/month, no credit card required.

LinkAffix exists because AI products that recommend real products (shopping assistants, trip planners, gift finders) have no way to earn commission on those recommendations — traditional cookie-based affiliate tracking doesn't work when the "page" is a server-side LLM response with no browser in the loop. LinkAffix resolves attribution with first-party click IDs generated server-side instead.

## Notes

- Affiliate links are configured manually per campaign today — there is no Amazon PA API / CJ Affiliate / Rakuten auto-import yet.
- There is no published SDK package (`@linkaffix/sdk` does not exist on npm) — integrate via the REST API directly.
- Publisher payouts are processed manually; automated payout rails are on the roadmap.
- Attribution model: server-side, first-party click IDs, last-click within a configurable window (default 30 days).
